Weather Forecast For 14th August 2017

Cloudy skies can be expected at most parts of the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at Northern, North-Central, Eastern, Uva and Central provinces after 2.00 p.m.Showers can be expected in the Jaffna district during the morning too.

Light showers can be expected elsewhere.

Fairly heavy falls (about50-75mm) can be expected at some places in the Vauniya, Mullaitivu, Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Anuradhapuradistricts.

(There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.)
