Formula For Water Tariff Revision Ready

The Secretary to the   Ministry of National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Sarath Chandrasiri  said , that  the discussion on revision of water tariffs have commenced . Formula to be adopted is also being prepared.

Further he said, from the data gathered 55% of the consumers are using water below 15 units per day and their rates won’t be revised. In addition Samurdi recipients also will not be affected by these tariff revision.
