Bandula Refuses  to Attend Inquiry at CID Office

The  Criminal Investigation Department has summoned  Joint Opposition MP Bandula Gunawardena to appear in the CID office today (15).  But he has refused  to go to the CID and asked them to come to his residence to record statement  in connection with  his public announcement,  that  the Lotteries Board  should be under the Finance Ministry  and not  under the Foreign Ministry.

 It is relevant to mention that he has already petitioned the Supreme Court  against bringing  the National  Lotteries  Board under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
