The State Auditors Services Trade Union Collective acknowledges that the new Act provide increase powers of  the Auditor General . Some of the Ministry Secretaries are against vesting with more powers with the Auditor General.  Hence, the delay in approving the new Auditors Act experienced.

The State Auditors Services Trade Union collective is of the view that the delay in approving the Act has affected internal administration activities within the Department.

Hence, they have organized to stage a protest against the delay at the parliament roundabout at noon today.
