Interrogation of MP Prasanna Ranaweera at FCID

UPFA Gampaha District MP Prasanna Ranaweera alleged to have sold a government-owned property of 80 perches located in Kiribathgoda, during his tenure as the Chairman of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha. He had allegedly sold a two perch portion of the land to a one of his relatives.

He has been summoned  to the Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) today.

He came to  the FCID this morning  and giving a statement with regard to a complaint against him.

The FCID  has interrogated  and recording his statement.
