Weather Forecast For 17th September 2017

Strong gusty winds can be expected over the country (particularly in the Central hills of the island,Northern, North-central and North-western provinces and in the Hambanthota district) and surrounding sea area.

Showers will occur at times in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.Fairly heavy falls (about 75mm) are expected at some places, Particularly in Galle, Matara, Ratnapura and Kaluthara districts.

Several spells of showers will occur at Anuradhapura, Jaffna and Mannar districts.
