Basil Rajapakshe Wants Businesses of Maithree’s Family Probed?

Ex Minister Basil Rajapakshe reported to have deployed several joint opposition MPs to inquire in to family businesses of President Maithreepala Sirisena especially to find out how state resources were used at launch of “ Janadipadi Thatha”, a book written President’s eldest daughter Chathurika.

In this connection President said to have summoned a young UNP MP regarding speculation that he and several other party back benchers were gathering information about the President’s family businesses.
