Cases Against Sarana Gunewardene  Fixed  for Trial in November

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has filed 9 cases  against former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunewardene on the charge of misusing state property .He is currently in remand prison. In other words he is charged with providing vehicles of the Development Lotteries Board on lease.

 During the last hearing the Prisons Superintendent was instructed to produce Sarana Gunewardene before Court today. The Court today ordered the all nine cases filed against himto be heard on the 14th of November.
