Charge Sheet Filed Against Avant Garde  Chairman & Indicted

Charge sheets were filed against Chairman of Avant Garde Nissanka Senadhipathi and a former Co-ordinating Officer of the Ministry of Defence,  Major General Palitha Fernando in the  High Court Today.

Charges were filed for obtaining and giving bribes.

 They were served with indictments today (03). The suspects were granted bail.

The case will be called in again on the 20th  October  and the trial will be held from 19th of March to 22nd of March 2018.

They are accused of soliciting a bribe of Rs. 35.5 million.
