Sword Slaughter in Manipay

Last evening(8) while two brothers were riding on a motorbike near Koolawadi in Manipay, sword swinging youths in motorbikes followed them and attacked.

In this incident 22 year old Vijitharan’s both hands were severely cut. Both wounded brothers were admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. They are being treated there. Manipay police carry out investigation.
