Estate Workers Request Increased Festival Advance

Currently  , an estate worker is given a festival advance of Rs. 6,500. The Chairman of CWC, MP Muttu Sivalingam has made an written request to Employers’ Federation to grant a Rs. 10,000 festival advance to an estate worker for the upcoming Deepawali Festival. In his letter he has drawn the attention for the high cost of living .
