The Disaster Management Centre has advised public residing in low-lying areas in the Kalutara district to be vigilant due to heavy rains experienced in the area.
Deputy Director of the DMC Pradeep Kodippili said a spill gate of the Kukuleganga reservoir has also been open. Pradeep Kodippil advised individuals residing in Agalawatte, Palinda Nuwara, Baduraliya and Ingiriya to be vigilant.
