Security to be Strengthened in Vavuniya

President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickramesinghe  are scheduled to  visit   Vavuniya on  21^st October  to Saivapragasa Ladies’ College, where a mobile service  is arranged.  Security within 2 km distance is tightened.

Police have started collecting data of  families residing within 2 km and detail of employees  working in  business centers.  In addition they collected data of visitors  visiting these families and trade organizations .

People complains that they are being inconvenienced  in their daily activities due to this stringent security measures.
