President Concerned About Cost of living & Thinking About Election Twice….

At the last Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, President Maithripala Sirisena is reported to have raised concerns about the failure on the part of the government to control  the rising cost of living . For the second time, the Cabinet took up the cost of living issue . where some Ministers blamed the Minister of Industry and Commerce for failing to control the high living costs.

At this stage President reported to have said, the government would even find it difficult to face elections given the way the cost of living was increasing at the moment.
