Investigation on Bribery & Corruption Cases Commences

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate and inquire into serious acts of corruption and abuse of power, state resources and privileges has inquired and dealt with large scale acts of corruption and abuse of power.

Now the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption says that 2,077 cases of bribery and corruption have been received by the Commission in the year 2017. Out of the 2,077 cases that have been received, investigations have commenced in respect of 1,077 complaints.
