Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath appeared before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today(9).
Senarath, who is alleged to have misused public funds worth Rs. 4 billion by the Colombo Fort Magistrate, filed a Fundamental Rights petition in the Supreme Court on 6th November , seeking an order preventing the FCID from arresting him in connection with a magisterial inquiry, under the Public Property Act.
