Action Against Private Bus Employees Not Wearing Uniform

The chairman of the Western Province Road Passenger Transport Authority ,Thusitha Kularatne said , commuters have lodged complaints that certain private bus employees do not wear the official uniform whilst engaging in services. He said that bus inspectors have been directed to take necessary legal steps those bus employees, who do not wear uniform.

Meanwhile, Kularatne also stated continuous inspections are being carried out to determine, if bus tickets are being issued to commuters.
