Voting on Second Reading of 2018 Budget Reading Today

The annual budget for the financial year 2018 was presented by the Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera on the 9 th of November 2017. The parliament debated it on 10 th , 11 th ,13 th and 14 th continuously. Voting on second reading of the 2018 Budget will be taken today (16). The debate on the second reading of the 2018 Budget will commence this evening at 5pm.

The Committee Stage Debate will be held from the 16th of November while the vote on the third reading of the Budget will be taken on the 9th of December.
