Electric Buses Soon on Srilanka Roads

The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne said, the proposal is being compiled together with the relevant Chinese company.

He says the first stock of electric buses will arrive in the island for public transportation within the next three months. Gemunu further said, that steps will be taken to import the buses once the joint proposal in this regard is handed over to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
