Gota did much more to Tamils than Sampanthan?
Former Defence Secretary , Gotabaya Rajapakshe had inaugurated an organization called “Eliya” means light on 6th September 2017.
Leader of the opposition cum leader of the TNA reported to have said, that “Eliya” is a communal oriented organization.
Referring to this comment made by R.Sampanthan, Gotabaya Rajapakshe while participating in an event in Anuradhapura yesterday said, that R.Sampanthan is an honest, senior experienced politician, who could not mange to do anything to the Tamils due to prevailing unsettled situation in the past. But he claimed, that he has done much more than what Sampanthan delivered to Tamils.
Further he said, that he has no dispute regarding Tamils and Muslims live with respect in this country. To maintain the unitary status of the country, steps will be taken through ”Eliya” he said.
