TNA Decides to Contest All LG Bodies in North & East

The Tamil National Alliance yesterday (03) decided to contest all local government bodies in the Northern and Eastern Provinces at the forthcoming local government election.A meeting of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) was held at the party office in Jaffna yesterday (3). In the absence of it’s leader R. Sampanthan, who is indisposed, leader of the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi, Parliamentarian Mavai Senathirajah presided the meeting. Parliamentarian Mavai Senathirajah and the party representatives have unanimously decided to field candidates to contest all local government bodies in the North and East.

Further , Mavai Senathirajah has reiterated on the importance of the Tamil National Alliance to work hard to achieve victory as the major party leading the Tamils in the North and East.
