Consumer Affairs Authority  Plan Special Raids  During Festive Season

Consumer Affairs Authority  has planned to  carry our several special raids in the country  during  the festive season from  15^th November to 15^th January , to reduce injustices done to  consumers . Raids will be made on  main trade centers  and  in their storage facilities.

Steps have been taken to ban  sale of  items, that indicates  wrong information regarding  its contents .

At the same time  Consumer Affairs Authority has ordered it’s officers to carry out  raids on  retail shops to ensure,  that  no sale of  expired goods done by them.
