Landslide Warnings to  Ratnapura District

National Building Research Organization (NBRO) due to the heavy rainfall within the past 24 hours, which exceeded 75 mm, has issued landslide warnings for Kolonna Divisional Secretariat Division and surrounding areas in Ratnapura district.

 The warning issued yesterday (4) at 07. 30 p.m. is effective for the next 24 hours.

NBRO requests civilians in these areas to be watchful on the possibility of landslides, slope failures, rock falls, cut failures and ground subsidence.
