Raids to Nab Traders Violating MRP

Maximum Retail Price (MRP) for some essential goods was gazetted by the government yesterday. It included coconut, dhal and two types of dry fish.

After giving a time space to traders, as from Saturday (9) Consumer Affairs Authority has decided to do raids on trade centres selling above mentioned essential goods at prices exceeding the MRP.
