Purchase One Million Tonnes of Rice Ordered by Prime Minister

State Minister of Finance and Media Eran Wickramarathne , while speaking at a press conference at Sirikotha yesterday said , that measures are being taken by the government to reduce the prices of rice.

In this connection the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has ordered to purchase one million tonnes of rice to maintain price stability of rice.
