Drunken Driver Took Two Pedestrian Lives at Battaramulla

A jeep driven by a drunken driver on the Kaduwela – Battaramulla main road near the 8 th mile post ran over two pedestrians walking on the side of the road early this morning (9) and caused serious injuries to them Victims at the age of 24 and 38 on admission to the Colombo General hospital pronounced dead.

Police took the driver into custody and confirmed that he was drunk during the accident.
