Arrest of  Four High Profile Politicians Including Minister Maruthapandi

On a complaint made by a father of  four children regarding an attack incident  in a funeral house at Samimalai Halton Estate  in Hatton coming under the purview of Maskeliya police,  four  high profile politicians including Central Provincial Council  Agricultural  Minister  Maruthapandi Rameshwaran  were arrested by the Maskeliya  police. Ambagamuva Predesha Saba Chairman Vellaiyan Dinesh and four  other CWC very important persons were among the arrested.

Suspects  reported to have attacked  the complainant and caused injuries to him. Maskeliya police said, that they will be produced before the Hatton district Court today.
