Mostly Podujana Peramuna Nomination Rejected

Out of nominations for 93 local government councils closed today , several  nominations of political parties were rejected.

Among the rejected nominations Srilanka Podujana Peramuna  is in front. Apart from other LG councils, Weligama Urban Councils nomination was rejected.

Srilanka Podujana Peramuna’s Maharagama Urban Council nomination too reported to be rejected on the grounds that required women representation not made.

In the meantime the party’s nomination lists for the Panadura Urban Council, Badulla Pradeshiya Sabha, Mahiyanganaya Pradeshiya Sabha and Agalawatta Pradeshiya Sabha have also been rejected.
