Search Operation to Arrest Chief Monk of Polpithigama

Pradesha Vihara and Galgamuwa Irrigation Engineer In connection with the killing of  Galgamuwe ”Dala Poottuwa” elephant and selling of its’ tusks (Ivory), 8 suspects were arrested by the CID and remanded on court order.

During interrogation made on 1 st and 2 nd suspects, they spilled the beans. Based on their revealing CID has now launched a search operation to arrest Galgamuwa Irrigation Executive Engineer and Chief Monk of Polpithigama  Pradhesha Vihara.
