Malaysian PM Najib Razak to Meet Srilankan President & PM Today

The Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak arrived in the island last morning on an invitation extended by President Sirisena.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak will today call on President Maithripala Sirisena for bilateral discussions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, that  the Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak will also call on Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today.

Three MoUs will be signed in Science, Technology and Innovation,  Bio-Economy Development Cooperation  and Training for Diplomatic Personnel, and a special stamp and a first day cover will be released to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations in the presence of the two leaders.

During the meeting with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, discussions will focus on economic cooperation and trade and investment between the two countries.
