Gemunu on Election Propaganda in Private Buses

The Lanka Private Bus Operators Association Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne speaking to the media stressed there will be no room for propaganda displays in buses. He further said, the Lanka Private Bus Operators Association has maintained the same standard in the past reiterating election propaganda activities will not be authorised in private buses.

Wijeratene noted legal action will be taken against any individual found violating this regulation. He added buses will be allocated for election activities such as transporting ballot boxes for all 25 districts as requested by the Elections Commission.
