Bus Falls Into Precipice And Cost 2 Lives In Ratnapura

A private bus plying from Urubokka to Colombo skidded off the road and fell into a precipice at Pathulpana in Ratnapura early this morning (23).

Two people, including a female, have died and 44 others have been injured in this accident. The identities of the two deceased persons are yet to be determined.

It had been revealed that 60 passengers had been travelling in the bus at the time of the accident.

Further investigations carried out by the Ratnapura Police.
