Lack of Exercise & Bad Lifestyle Contributes Increase in Cancer Patients

Children’s Specialist Dr. Deepal Perera says that lack of exercise, bad lifestyle and intake of instant food contributes towards increase in cancer patients. Nearly   25,000 cancer patients reported annually and 500 children are among them.
He added, scores of children were also falling victim to non-communicable diseases and one way to protect these children from such diseases was to prevent them from taking large amounts of sugar and salt. Such measures would help to protect the children from contracting diabetes, heart disease and kidney ailments, amongst others.
