Rejection of  Maharagama SLPP Nomination List Challenged in Supreme Court

The returning officer of Maharagama  had rejected the SLPP nomination list on the grounds that  it had not mentioned the women representation in the list properly.

Hence,  the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has filed a petition yesterday (4) in the Supreme Court seeking an order to accept the rejected nomination list of the party for Maharagama Urban Council.
