Is Lower Malwatu Oya project Affects Wilpattu?

The environmentalists fears that around 19,000 acres of Wilpattu reserve would face destruction if the planned Lower Malwatu Oya project is implemented.

The National Coordinator of the Center for Environment and Nature Studies, Ravindra Kariyawasam disclosed  this during a media conference in Colombo today (Jan. 10).
