Rice Unfit for Consumption Being Sold in Hatton- Wattawala Area….

On receipt of complaints from consumers of Hatton- Wattawala area that a peculiar type of rice is being sold between the price Rs 50 and Rs 60 per Kg, Public Health Inspectors carry out inspection in trade centres.

When this rice is cooked it becomes sticky and difficult to remove it from hand, consumers allege.
