Arrest Warrant Against Sarana Gunawardena

Cases were filed on the basis that the former deputy minister Sarana Gunawardena had caused losses to the state,  when he had leased vehicles for the National Lotteries Board, during his tenure as chairman of the board.

When the case was taken up for inquiry today, an arrest warrant was issued on former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali.
