President’s Special Statement Cancelled

The special statement due to be delivered by President Maithripala Sirisena today regarding to the prevailing political climate and the future of the National Unity government has been cancelled.

President was scheduled to make a special statement, regarding relevant matters at a meeting today with heads of media organisations. However the discussion has been cancelled.
