Army Corporal Attacked by Crocodile

An Army corporal was attacked by a crocodile while on duty yesterday.  The corporal had gone to a nearby lagoon to take water when he was attacked.

He was deployed to provide security to the land where ‘Voice of America’ radio station was established in Iranawila, Chilaw.

Police said, that the incident had occurred yesterday (20) and thereafter he was admitted to hospital.
