“No Relief for Estate Workers from UPFA Manifesto” – Palani Digambaran

Minister Palani Digambaran said a short while ago that the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) manifesto has not offered any relief to the ‘estate worker community’ and other minorities.

Speaking at a meeting in Castlereagh, he pointed out that the United National Front (UNFGG) has promised to solve the problems of estate workers, including their salary issues.

Moreover, Mr. Digambaran stated that Ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa was conducting an election campaign based on racism and religious segregation. He was once defeated in January and will be defeated in August, Digambaran emphasized.

Digambaran also said that the UNF will win the election with 117 seats.
