Woman strangled to death

The Police have started extensive investigations into the murder of a woman, in her home at Kebithigollewa in Anuradhapura.

The examinations carried out by the Judicial Medical Officer revealed that the cause of death was due to strangulation, police sources stated.

Police are conducting further investigations. Police states that the victim was fifty years old at the time of her death.
