Three Wheel Drivers Against the Introduction of Indian Manufactured Bajaj Kiyuti Vehicle as a Backup Vehicle

The Chairman of the Three-Wheeler Owners Association (TWOA)  Sunil Jayawardene said  that the decision taken to introduce the Indian manufactured Bajaj Kiyuti vehicle as a backup vehicle to three wheelers will lead to many issues and complications.
Hence, TWOA has decided to lodge a complaint with the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption against Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Champika Ranawaka, for having provided an unsuitable backup vehicle to the three-wheelers.
The Chairman of the TWOA Sunil Jayawardene said that Ministers Ranawaka, Nimal Siripala de Silva (Transport) and Chairman of the National Council for Road Safety,Dr. Sisira Kodagoda will be named as respondents in the complaint. Jayawardene added that already a case has been filed to this effect in the Indian Supreme Court as well.
