President to Visit Japan Today

President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to leave for Japan today (12) on a three-day state visit.

The Head of State will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his visit .

He is also scheduled to meet with Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko. During the visit, Japan is expected to reaffirm its commitment to bolstering bilateral ties with Sri Lanka.
