Wastage of Water in the Colombo Municipality Limits to be Reduced

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said, that the wastage of water in the Colombo Municipality limits can be reduced by 30%.

Chairman Water  Board, Alahudeen Ansar said around 45% of water was wasted as the pipelines within the Colombo city is over 110 years old. old pipelines are currently being replaced with new lines to avoid leakages of water, he added.
