Cooking Gas Price Will Not to be Increased Before Tamil – Sinhala New Year

Director of Industry and Commerce Ministry Indika Ranatunga said, that despite request made by Litro and Laugfs manufacturers to increase in the price of a cooking gas cylinder by Rs 275.00, there will be no increase in the price of cooking gas before the forthcoming Tamil – Sinhala New Year.

He said this at a media briefing held today (29) at the Finance Ministry.

He further said, that discussions are being held but    no price increase will be effected before the Tamil-Sinhala New Year.
