Fare Meter Law be Postponed

The All Island Three-Wheeler Drivers Association said that  the Minister of Transport will be informed of the issues surrounding the proposal to make mandatory the use of a fare meter and the issuance of a receipt.

Chairman of the association Sudhil Jayaruk said, that  practical issues exist if the proposal is immediately implemented, although the association agreed to the decision to fix fare meters.

Followed by this , the Chairman requested the government to temporarily postpone the enactment of the law.
