Coconut at Rs 75 For New Year

The Coconut Cultivation Board has taken measures to sell coconuts for a price of Rs. 75  for the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year season.

Chairman of the Cultivation Board Kapila Yakandawala, said that in some areas it would be sold through mobile unit.

He said this  program will be implemented from next week. Colombo and other sub-regions will be coverd.
