Half Day Bank Holiday on 20th

As the Sinhala Tamil New Year fell on Saturday 14^th, in lieu of it Banks are given ½ day bank holiday on 20^th April 2018, Central Bank announced.

Accordingly all bank transactions will come to an end at 1200 hrs on 20th April 2018.

However, this is not a Public or Mercantile holiday.
