Final Decision on the System to be Adapted in Conducting PC Election Today

Party leaders under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe is scheduled to meet and decide  either  to adapt  the current mixed  system or to revert back to earlier proportional representation system in conducting the forthcoming Provincial Council Election today (19).

At the same time another special meeting of the party leaders is also scheduled to be held today to discuss about the last month Kandy disturbances, said Minister Mano Ganeshan.
