Issuing Voucher For School Uniforms Continued to be in Force

Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, while participating in the Japan Expo 2018 exhibition said, that the system of issuing vouchers for school uniforms will continue to be in force. Increasing the value of the voucher is under consideration, he said.

He has advised the education authorities to issue new text books to students in Grade 10 and 11.
